The location was magnificent and ideal, really close to the Cliffs Pavilion, somewhere to eat, and the promenade. Everyone was caring and the room was well-equipped and beautifully presented. A high quality hotel, my first choice in Southend-on-Sea. Neat place with affable staff and wonderful view of the sea. Nice food, reasonably priced. Everything was lovely from the staff to the room, comfy bed and perfect little room. The staff were incredibly nice and exceptionally pleasant day and night. Variety of exceptional food, I really enjoyed it. The venue was in a beachfront location close enough to the theatre, and sea / estuary. I tried some drinks at bar Brewers Fayre, located 20 minutes walk away.

The staff is extremely friendly and immensely pleasant as well as hotel's owner. Its rooms are extremely pleasant and well laid out, had a pleasant stay during the holidays. The hotel is clean, stylish and has great and beautiful location on the seafront less than a mile from the town centre. Make sure to get suite with lovely decor as well as a jar of jelly babies.
